Sunday Snapshot: April 2024

First Sunday Monthly Snapshot

Monthly Artistic Inspiration From My Latest Art Photographs

Pictures of Moments In Time, and Human Interaction, That Share Hope and God’s Love In the World.

Friends, for this Snapshot I focus on the same location and time of day, but in a different year, from my archives. Sometimes I need to let images brew until I ‘notice’ them. Although these images look similar, they’re both quite different. A reminder that with each new day, yesterday ended last night. — Below is only a sample of most recent additions. Click here to see the rest of it. Enjoy!

Christmas Sunrise – Natural Colors

A serene morning sky is painted with warm hues of orange and pink as it transitions into day. Silhouettes of various trees, including pines, stand against the illuminating light, marking the start of not just another day, but Christmas in 2019. Copyright 2019 Frank J Casella. Winter Red

weather, sunrise, nature, silhouette, square, photograph, red sky, frank j casella,
An high contrast winter sunrise in square format with artsy framing in the design. Sometimes the square tells a better story than the photo rectangle. The drama of the illuminated sky from the sun and the silhouetted pine trees, with a touch of white snow to add some contrast. This shows there is much to life too when we concentrate on the details rather than the big picture. Copyright 2013 Frank J Casella. Click here to purchase.

Collection of the Month

Life In A Square – Visual Stories, and some with words, on the Lessons from Life in a Picture Square | The square lets pictures breathe. It doesn’t cramp the top and bottom, as do horizontal products, or squeeze them in on left and right as do vertical products. On Greeting Cards you rotate the cards not the image, and it fits naturally on Shower Curtains, Phone Cases, Mugs, and Tote Bags as well. You never have to rotate the picture!

That’s it for this Sunday Snapshot. Thank you for viewing, talk with you again next time,

Frank
